Applications are now open for the Swiss Summer Student Program 2025, a fully funded 9-week internship in Switzerland. This international opportunity is hosted by five top universities, including ETH Zurich, EPFL, and the University of Geneva. The program will run from July 14 to September 14, 2025. Students from around the world can apply, and there is no application fee. The main goal of this program is to give international Bachelor’s and Master’s students the chance to gain hands-on research experience in particle physics under expert guidance.
Switzerland Swiss Summer Student Program (Fully Funded)
This program is 100% free of cost for selected participants. All major expenses are covered: airfare tickets, visa fees, health insurance, accommodation, and daily meals. You don’t need to worry about any costs while staying and studying in Switzerland.

The program is organized by CHIPP (Swiss Institute of Particle Physics) and SCNAT (Swiss Academy of Sciences).
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
The program is open to students from all countries. You can apply if:

You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student

You are studying Physics, Applied Physics, Medical Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science

You are not a PhD student

You will be enrolled at your university during the entire internship period
